The family living in this gorgeous converted barn in the village of Bladon wanted a garden rather than a big expanse of lawn that formerly was a field. We worked with the existing patio using generously proportioned paths and planting beds that lead to a rear terrace with a bespoke pergola and large Urbis Lily bowl. The majestic mature trees beyond and landscape on the right give a wonderful back drop to the swathes of bold planting.  The oak sculptural pergola creates the feeling of an outdoor room with comfortable sofas for watching the sun go down.
