This tiny new build garden measure just 9m by 7m but delivers three seating areas, a bespoke pergola, a water feature and generous planting.  With no lawn gardens it looks as good mid July as in April.  Gentle lighting gives atmosphere without comprising the night sky for wildlife.  A leaky pipe irrigation system sits under the mulch keeping everything growing without evaporation.  Every inch of this small space has been considered. The diagonal layout increases the feeling of space and gives a circular route around the garden.  Gone is the Astro turf, hidden is ugly fencing and air source heat pump and most surprisingly of all perhaps is the reuse of the concrete slabs. They have be relaid on the diagonal with planting pockets and gravel and look fabulous rather than drab.  Finding solutions was important with this garden because the access was very difficult.
