LAURA BURT GARDEN & LANDSCAPE DESIGN
plants people places
I work with a pen, lens and spade and now mouse with equal happiness. I studied at the Oxford College of Garden Design where I was able to bring my CAD skills up to speed. I am a pre- registered member of the Society of Garden Designers. My background in photography brings a visual awareness to how I design and 10 years of horticultural experience gives a practical and pragmatic expertise.
I enjoy designing both private residential gardens and working with public realm community and commercial projects. I am the principal designer for The Nature Effect a Community Interest Company creating nature inspired 'wildscapes' for a range of communities in Oxford. In both my residential design practice, commercial and public project work I aim to work sustainably to deliver beautiful gardens and spaces that don't cost the earth and seek to make each green space have a positive impact on the planet.
I am fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity. In my practice I am committed to life long learning and professional development.
