‘Let nature be your guiding principle’
Jane Goodall
Residential Projects
Private gardens to suit all budgets and locations from townhouse, courtyards and country gardens. Deeply personal gardens can bring a new dimension to everyday living and adding a landscape that provides a place of sanctuary, entertainment and connection with nature.
Public Projects
We bring nature and beauty to wider audiences by transforming unloved spaces in both urban and rural locations. These ‘gardenscapes’ are ecological and community lifelines bringing natural elements into the hardscape and many different habitats for insects, mammals, invertebrates and birds.
Laura did an amazing job of improving our garden and we could not be happier with the end result. We are so glad that we decided to invest in the services of a professional designer, as Laura came up with ideas we would never have thought of ourselves. She transformed our garden from an under-used space we used to walk straight through to a lush and beautiful garden enjoyed by the whole family every day. Laura worked with us to fulfil our brief and make the most of our existing garden’s attributes. Her design was creative and practical. I would not hesitate to recommend her services.

Our process
Gardens are for people and nature and our role as the designer and facilitator is to open up the conversation and design with both in mind. Each project is unique. We listen to you, observe and delve into the landscape to understand its challenges and your specific needs and wishes. This information in conjunction with the site analysis and survey formulates the brief. The next step is to develop a concept plan and visualisation of the ‘imagined’ garden. The image below was our visual for the Early Years playground garden at St Francis School, Oxford. We modelled the concept plan in Sketch Up and then rendered it in photoshop so that the client could immediately grasp what the finished garden would look like. To do this we worked from a survey to make an accurate plan to scale.
