Designing for tomorrow

Another hosepipe ban has come into effect after two months of heat. Most gardens are not adapted to these hot and dry summers and without regular water will start to suffer. We can keep up with the watering and they will continue to look good but water is becoming scarcer so designer for lower watering requirements is going to be critical. It doesn’t mean compromise just better planning, sensible irrigation and plants that will thrive. My next project is just that a garden suitable for hot dry summers that will still tolerate wet winters. Watch this space.
